New Mom Stabs Her 3 Kids to Death Then Stabs Herself But Survives

A nursing mother has been arrested after she stabbed three of her only kids to death

The 28-year-old mother from Basud in Camarines Norte, Philippines, hacked her children, ages 5, 1 year/8months old, and 4 months old, to death at their home.

The mother also tried to commit suicide but survived the attempt. She is confined to a hospital after the suicidal attempt was unsuccessful. 

Police said that 

The mother admitted to the crime, thinking she was infected with the deadly Covid-19."

However, The police think that the suspect could be suffering from a condition termed as Postpartum Depression.

Meanwhile, the husband of the suspect and her other close relatives are very determined to press charges against her.

Three counts of parricide were filed by the Philippine National Police against the mother.
